Good Mother Lizard
Good Mother Lizard is a 5-piece grunge band from Stroud in Gloucestershire.
We are:
Joe Tate - Vocals
Dan Fegan - Lead Guitar
Joe Carpenter - Ryhthm Guitar
Jamie Skey - Bass
Andy Thomas - Drums
Our influences as a band include Incubus, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Deftones, Weezer and Cyclefly.
Individually, we feel we are influenced by the following bands in our own playing:
Joe - Incubus, Cyclefly.
Dan - Gareth Gates, George Michael, Elton John, the Village people, Steps, The faggot boys.
Joe -Ozzy, finch, GlassJaw.

History
Good Mother Lizard began in October 2000. Originally, the line-up was the same as now, but with Matt Woodward on lead guitar and Dan on rhythm. We recorded the demo like this but Matt quit in September 2001. Joe Carpenter joined in January 2002.
We have played gigs at "Capones" (Dursley). "The Queen Vic", "Sub Rooms" and "The Peli" (Stroud). "Town Hall" (Nailsworth). "Monks Bar" and "Pig Inn The City" (Gloucester). (If you know of any venues where we can get gigs then please let us know!)
We are always looking to play gigs anywhere, anytime and take pretty much every opportunity we can to play live.
